Pudince devices sold under the ZAC Branding ship with pre-installed applications that can be deleted if the user wishes to. Some of these applications include
These applications cannot be downloaded from the Windows store, as they are designed specifically for ZAC devices and are refused certification to the Windows store based on the features of some of the apps.
To re-install a deleted app, open the web browser on your device. You will want to open Internet Explorer. Once the browser is open, you will want to navigate to the following URL:
The page may take a couple of seconds to load. This page can be accessed offline but to install the apps, you will need to be connected to a wireless network or active cellular data connection. Once the page has loaded, it should look like this:
Tap on the screen to open the file as instructed. A prompt will appear asking if you wish to open or save the file. Click the “Open” button.
It will open an application that has an interface as per the following screen:
From here, you will want to select the application you wish to install from a list. Then you will be presented with the following interface:
Click “Install” to install the application.
You will want to follow the onscreen instruction, and tap to install.
Then tap open, as the save option is not available.
Then you will need to install several certificates. For each “ZAC Certificate Manager” popup that appears, you will need to click “Install”.
There should be 4 certificates but may be more depending on the age of your device. Eventually, they will install and you will see a progress bar as follows:
You will then receive the completion message that looks like the following:
To re-install a deleted app, open the web browser on your device. You will want to open Microsoft Edge. Once the browser is open, you will want to navigate to the following URL:
It will present you with a page that looks like an app with a jumplist. It will contain, in alphabetical order, any applications that are permitted to be installed on your device.
To continue, tap on the app you wish to reinstall. This will present you with a page with several options. To repair the application, tap “Repair”. To reinstall, tap “Reinstall”. You can also see details of the app with several hyperlinks.
It may take a few moments to install. The following page will display. You do not need to do anything on this page. It will install to your device by default or you can tap the hyperlink to change to SD card storage. This screen will display for 10-50 seconds depending on your network speed.
Then you will receive a page that looks like the following:
Follow the onscreen instructions and tap to install the certificate. It will display a full screen popup that looks like the following:
It will pre-fill all the information necessary. All you need to do is click install.
You’re done. The next page is “You’re good to go” with a link to install more applications or run the application, as shown in the image below:
