The highly popular Phone Hub BETA application by Pudince LLC was removed from the Windows Phone store after 3 weeks of being published.
Pudince would like to state publicly that it is not happy about the removal of the application from the Windows Phone store.
The Microsoft Development team has given us the following reasoning behind the app’s dismissal from the store:
“The application was removed from the Microsoft Windows Phone application store/marketplace as it violates several of our key rules. Firstly, the application uses the Microsoft Windows “flag” [logo] throughout the application constantly. The application uses this image without credit to the copyright holder on each page that it is used.”
- Microsoft Spokesperson
The application will not be re-uploaded to the store as the addition of “Windows flag a trademark of Microsoft, Copyright 2015” would clutter the application if it were to be added to each page. The Windows flag is used in the application as the application explicitly gives information on Windows mobile phones.
